MEET MARIA: Our Exclusive Refined Photographer and owner of Forget Me Not… There is something magical about working with Maria. We are obsessed with how she gets the best of you behind the lens. She really photographs your soul and makes sure you are having a great time. But most importantly, she is a mentor of creatives and a connector of entrepreneurs. Her Wedding and Event Photography is just spectacular and creative. We love having you on our Board and part of the Refined tribe.
Jillian Ziska
All things pretty and unique have always been a passion for Jillian. Her desire to build and create new, unique pieces for her clients so they can experience a one of a kind event has always been at the forefront of her designs.
She prides herself on keeping up with the trends, reinventing the old and creating the things we all wish existed. Her excitement to bring a specific aesthetic to the San Diego event industry has catapulted her into a fresh and exciting new territory where she blends the refined looks of our favorite home stores, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Anthropologie, West Elm & More.
Jillian is excited to be a part of the Refined Board of Advisors where she will offer her valuable knowledge when it comes to what our industry needs to build and unleash its fullest potential.
Cris Joseph
If you do not know Cris, then you must be living under a rock. Choosing Cris as part of our BOA’s was super easy because of so many factors. She is that human in your life that exceeds all successful stories.
Her longevity, determination and nonstop energy is contagious and she is always there to help connect others. She has been in this industry for over 20 years and knows anyone and everyone in every vertical of this industry.
Cris takes her role as a connector and creative in this industry seriously and she is protective over everyone she knows.

Tahnie Nollenberger
Tahnie is an event planner based in San Diego and owner of Ivy Weddings and Events, specializing in clean, modern and romantic design styles.
You'll often find her in front of the camera hosting and highlighting our local venues, vendors and sharing wedding education to couples. Amateur comedian, creative genius, and 'hype girl' are some of the many ways to describe Tahnie in a nutshell. No matter what the day brings, she will make sure to bring out the 'fun' side in everyone, especially at the Refined Events!
In 2023, Tahnie created the first ever Lipstick brand curated for brides. Aisle Beauty is pure perfection and we are so proud of you.
Lucy Yates
Oh boy, Lucy is that person that brightens up your life. Her respect for life and energy to be the best version of herself is what drew me to Lucy in the first place. She brings a level of Empathy to everything she does and LOVES LIFE.
Lucy is the kindest and most intimate person you will ever know. She looks you in the eyes when she communicates and that makes you feel so special and heard.
Lucy is bringing her knowledge of accountability, self growth, success and even failures to create an environment that will help us all.

Camila Margotta
Camila is a beach lover, devoted wife and a mom to her two beautiful, effervescent girls. She loves calling sunny San Diego home and if she’s not behind the lens of her camera, she’s probably chasing around her kiddos, devouring a new book or relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea.
She strives to gracefully capture the beautiful, everyday moments that remind us all of what really matters.
Camila started photographing the Refined Cafe crawls in 2021 and everyone loved her. She comes with such poise and a love for beauty. Everyone at the Cafe Crawls had a blast with her and really connected.
She may be quiet, but do not let that fool you, she has a magnificent and unique attitude on life and perseverance. Just what we need at Refined by Suher.
